Today was the last day of business for the Chester County Book Company, one of the area's few surviving independent book stores. I have worked there for nearly six years, made wonderful friends and read some terrific books. Keep your fingers crossed that Chestco. Books will be reincarnated this spring at a new location! Stay tuned!

It is heartbreaking that this wonderful book store is closing. Let's all hope for its reincarnation very soon. For now, I'll order books through the Narberth-based Character Development -- which sells books for young readers. And, of course, when I'm in town, I'll visit Joseph Fox.
